The Orange Giraffe Project conducts two workshops throughout the year. Over the course of a workshop participants will learn design concepts and co-design a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry with veterans of the field who will guide them in developing a visual sensitivity for their own personal style. Each piece of jewelry will be hand-made by the partnering jewelry designer so that envisioned designs will not be limited by a patient's physical strength or fine motor skill condition. At the conclusion of the program participants will receive their pieces and a photo compilation of all the pieces created during the workshop at a reception sponsored by the Orange Giraffe Project. At the luncheon, they will have the chance to share their designs and inspirations with one another.
The Orange Giraffe Project is also currently in program development for potential one-on-one sessions for interested participants who may not be well enough to attend the group workshops.
